Nearly 100 delegates from our affiliated locals will gather together to consider resolutions, make constitutional changes, and participate in decisions affecting their union and working lives. Our convention celebrates the democratic spirit embodied in unionism. This year, to celebrate, support, and stimulate that spirit, we embrace the theme Step Up! to highlight our activism.
Also this year, we will be electing a new president. Sandra Schroeder will be saying goodbye after 12 years of leading our organization and we will recognize her retirement.
